Very poorly coordinated, got there at 6:30, went to buy tickets for the corn maze. A very rude lady who worked there sternly told us to leave as they were closed from 6-7 and we could not purchase tickets until 7pm. We go back to sit in the car for half an hour and at about 645 we see lots of people walking into the ticket office. Finally we go up there and people are already buying tickets at 6:45 with a line out the door, (so they lied about being closed from 6-7). Finally after 10 minutes we buy our tickets and we’re group number 29 meaning they had been selling tickets for a long time prior to 6:45. We then go and wait by the gate for our number to be called. With loud music playing you can hardly hear the numbers their calling and if you miss your number called that’s too bad it’s gone. We are yelled at for standing near the gate. After a long time waiting our number is called along with other numbers. We are given a talk about how we cannot look at anything else and they’ll leave us if we don’t make it out of the maze they’ll leave us until tomorrow morning. After watching a stupid safety video before we are allowed to start with about 10 useless rules. We are handed a map that can only be seen under red lighting. Thankfully my flashlight had a red light option or we would of been in there all night trying to find the red light station. We didn’t see a single one. Terrible maze. Will never go again.
The best fall attraction I've ever been to by far! Admission is only $10, which is a steal! The staff is amazingly sweet and so helpful! The kids had a blast (I did too) and we'll be back next year for sure!
Took my granddaughters to Showvaker's pumpkin patch. So much fun for kids and adults alike! And there's so much to do. We were there for 3 hours and didn't do it all. It's nice that the price of admission includes everything (except pony rides). Thanks Showvaker's for a fun day!!!
I was pessimistic at first, since it looked like a typical backyard farm, but the $11/person entry fee turned out to be well worth it. As we first walked in, the smell of goat feces and the sight of overfed ponies biting trusting children, discouraged me from walking much further. But then I turned and saw the excitement on the kids faces as they raced toward the giant drainage pipe slide and giggled as they sped down and crashed into the bales of straw at the bottom. Then it was on to the pirate ship, where they filled their shoes with sand and pumped their legs on the swings, swinging higher and higher, taking out unsuspecting adults and children alike with every descent! After that we watched them climb up a pyramid of straw bales and jump off, practically breaking both legs as they hit the ground. Straw filled their pants and shirts and itched them like crazy! They would soon limp over to the pedal cars laughing and smiling. On the oval pedal car course, they played frogger as the teenagers pummeled the toddlers who couldn’t pedal fast enough to get out of their way. When the road rash became unbearable, we went to the corn box (reminded me of a sand box only filled with corn). The kids thought it was a great idea to swan dive and belly flop into the pit until they realized corn is about as forgiving as concrete. Then the real challenge was assisting them in removing kernels from every void in their little bodies. We passed up the opportunity for a $3 pony ride for 2 trips around the small fenced in area. We figured it was a good idea to give the broke down, worn out, club footed mare a break so she might not have to grind her teeth in agonizing pain for the love of a 5 year old. After that, entering the “small” corn maze seemed like a good idea until the joke was on us.... About an hour later we grabbed a hold of a 10 year old kids shirt tail and begged him to lead us to safety. You win Corn Maze....you win! 3 hours at cornfusion seemed like an eternity!! So in my opinion, it was well worth the money!!! Good old fashioned family fun!!
Even Though we didnt purchase a tree, what a wonderful place ... very kid friendly and major plus ... dog friendly .... Will definitely being coming back
