I came here with my son and husband for the first time today, and definitely will not be returning, nor will I recommend this restaurant to anyone else. Right away, I couldn't help but notice the music was breaking in and out and mostly static, which was very annoying (especially since it was nearly empty and very quiet in the restaurant). My husband and son's food was okay, but mine was cold and the hollandaise sauce for the eggs benedict was disgusting. I'm grateful that it came separate, because it was also somehow colder than my food, which was barely room temperature. At one point, my son dropped his napkin, and as I leaned down to get it, I realized how filthy the floorboards and floor were, especially near the booths. The floorboards were crusted with dust and crumbs, and obviously had not been cleaned in a while. The only redeeming qualities were that the server was nice, and pretty attentive, and the food wasn't expensive.
I don't splash around 5 star reviews but for this little gem I will. Good home cooking. A good country atmosphere. Staff is polite and always on hand with refills and request.
